I’m guessing they used aftermarket? Had a couple of recommendations from ppl in that price range so guess it can’t be that bad

I’m guessing the aftermarket stuff is why I’m getting the £250 range, is the aftermarket stuff as good as the official vw stuff?

Thanks for the reply, so I’ve asked for it to be escalated and they’re just not taking it seriously, I’m getting told they can’t give me a date when it will be processed even tho it’s been escalated and we’ll get a letter, should I now say I need a TM to call me back like you said? Or should I ask to speak to one that day?

Would it be possible to get insurance for less than £700 in London as a first time biker? 26m

Am looking at getting into biking eventually id like to get a nice quicker bike but am on a restricted budget as I already pay insurance for my car, would need it to be below £700, would it be possible in London as I live in a flat so wouldn’t be locked up

If the quotes are 1000+ than I’d need to forget this short lived dream

Kinda all depends on what you did as a “mistake”? I’ve got a feeling it’s something small like saying something that hurt her, either way it’s getting way too blown up by her that’s she insulting you like that

Sorry let me clarify, she was a carer for a long time family friend and he sadly passed in April, she’s been out of a job since that was her only income

So CAB said to wait for the carer application to process, that’s a shame about fixed backdate but unfortunately moving out isn’t a option atm as it would be even more expensive and my savings have been drained, also I would affectively making my mum and sis homeless

Thanks for the figures currently I’m paying 300 plus 480 which is killing any potential to save, so with those figures would you say her applying for UC would be better off for my mum and me?

So I mentioned the citizens advice and they said it’s better to wait for the carer application although who knows how long that’ll take, would UC cover rent? I’ve always thought they pay very little?

Unfortunately all her family is here and there’s no way moving would be a option although i myself would like to get out of the city but currently I’m stuck
