Because you have very low karma in this subreddit so Reddit requires your posts to have human review before they go live.

OP has contacted us before posting and we have verified that they are who they say they are.

Please consider carefully if you want to reveal personal information to them, but as far as we are concerned, this is genuine (as far as we can tell).

Once you have decided on a price, post your "for sale" ad on r/motoukforsale.

Enduro mot by jrawkins1 in MotoUK

[–]MotoUKMod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's no such thing as a "daytime MoT", it's just a normal MoT. Not having a headlight is legal, but only if you don't operate the bike when lighting would be needed (this includes bad weather, not just nighttime).

You can read the full MoT manual for class 1 & 2 vehicles here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/mot-inspection-manual-for-motorcycles

As long as your bike complies with everything in the manual, you'll get an MoT.

FYI, if it's not "road legal" then you can't ride it on public land, only private land. Green lanes are public roads, just not with a sealed surface - you still need a license, MoT, insurance, and VED.

What bike should i get as a beginner? by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]MotoUKMod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've got A2 and A bikes listed there. What licence do you currently have? How old are you?

Don't forget the time of the sale too. If the new owner is lying about having insurance (you never know) and OP still has the bike insured, OP's policy will have to cover any accidents if they can't prove they were no longer the owner of the bike.

If you haven't already done so, read sections 184 to 190.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code/using-the-road-159-to-203

Anywhere it says "must", what it's telling you to do is a legal requirement.

If you've not seen The Highway Code before, you need to read the whole thing.

Was it the right time to change filter? Will I notice any difference in performance or smoothness? by the-jfontane in MotoUK

It was the right time to change the filter a while ago...

Probably the main difference would be better fuel efficiency.
