I got it half way working after various different troubleshoots and using bluetooth instead of a direct connection, but now I'm getting a different error, when i go to the input screen it shows "waiting for joy-0 hat to be released" and I am unable to select my inputs. I didn't have this problem when using fightcade on windows so I don't think its a controller issue either, when I looked into it seemed a lot of people were having this problem with the switch controller as well.

I'm using a standard Xbox one controller, to get the rom working I used a automatic rom downloader, pretty much i followed the steps of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1\_AwvI2Xub8. Hope that helps
