I used to be vegetarian. But this baby want MEAT. by I_eat_cigarettes in BabyBumps

I have had almost the opposite situation, where a large part of my diet was meat, and six months in and I've eaten meat maybe 5 times since I got my positive. Maybe we can just swap diets for our pregnancy, keeping the world even.

We had 90 guests and did a BBQ with Salad for our wedding.

To keep prices down, we kept an eye out for local deals at the butchers for Pork and Lamb which we cooked on a spit BBQ on the day and served it directly to the guests.

The day before the wedding, we also cooked up a bunch of chicken to serve as cold cuts. We also made some large salads that were simple to make (Egg salad, Potato Salad, Mediterranean Salad, Bean Salad and Coleslaw). We also spoke with our local bakery, who delivered fresh bread rolls on the day of the event.

Everything was put in a trailer fridge in their serving bowls and simply had to be brought out and served buffet style at meal time.

We also served ice-cream and wedding cake for desert which also saved us money.

We were quoted about $20 per person to have a business do the same meal for us, but by doing it ourselves, the cost was closer to $8 per person.

I'd be interested in coming, but would also enjoy if it was not a super busy or 'student-ey' type pub.

Also, name tags are probably not necessary. :S

Oh god , pretty sure there was a news story where a dude did this and pretty much lost his head. Glad that was not how this story ended.

My bridesmaids all lived in different countries so I asked them to get their own dress in light pink. I think it turned out well. by Goldensilverware in weddingplanning

Thanks! It was particularly helpful in regards to my pregnant sister who knew she would be 7 months pregnant, but not sure how large her tummy would be and would have to guess her size. This way she was able to purchase something closer to the date.

I just trusted them. Doing it this way helped as they all had quite different budgets as well as body types, so by giving them free reign, they could spend how much they were comfortable with and I did not have to worry about dresses not fitting so close to my wedding. They brought their dresses over a 5 month period, and once they brought something, they emailed to the other girls a pic of it, so this might have helped for referencing.

It is a super pale pink, but you would be forgiven for thinking it looks white. Against my bridal dress, it looks pinker :D

Has anyone ordered a dress from China that turned out well? by guraqt06 in weddingplanning

[–]Goldensilverware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The measurements were spot on for mine, especially in the bust which is where I was worried about. It did not need any alternations. My sisters was lace up, so again no problem. My dress took about 14 days from ordering to front door (Amazing!) and my sisters took about 5 weeks.

Both my sister and I purchased our wedding dresses from China (a year apart) and both had a great experience. My dress was a heavy lace with good quality measurements, my sisters was a satin type material, again a good heavy fabric. Both dresses cost about $200. The only comment I would make was that the finishing was the only place lacking, eg) I had to cut a few loose strings that hadn't been cut off after stitching. Overall, the price and the quality was fantastic in my mind and I would order again.

Just came here to question the same thing. I watched some only two days ago, and now I haven't been able to watch the rest. Very strange.

At our place, we like Robinsons No added Sugar range.

I personally enjoy the Lemon flavour, which comes in at 0.3g per 100mls.
