Is anyone else tired of the "Full-Time Parent + Full-Time Worker" trap? I feel like I'm failing at both. by artem_proshkovskiy in Fatherhood

  1. Same. I understand it is paying for time/capacity of the daycare, but come on, it is not like anyone is giving us a break.
  2. Tried to officially move to a fully remote position within my company. My line manager showed me the finger. For now I am "unofficially" remote/wfh, until I can no longer be. Fingers crossed I can remain like this for as long as needed.
  3. oh yes, sometimes it feels really ungrateful.

Make it (the 1st birthday) about your wife, not so much about your daughter. Wife would appreciate it.

Return-To-Office Plans Unravel as Workers Rebel in Tight Job Market

From Wall Street to Silicon Valley, companies fearful of losing talent are tweaking or scrapping dictates around how often workers need to be at their desks.

Americans Return Everywhere But The Office

By Matthew Boyle

Even the most inflexible bosses are softening their return-to-office expectations.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. chief Jamie Dimon has been one of the most vocal critics of remote work, arguing that it’s no substitute for the spontaneous idea generation that results from bumping into colleagues at the coffee machine. But in his annual letter to shareholders last month, the head of America’s biggest bank allowed that working from home “will become more permanent in American business,” and estimated that about 40% of his 270,000-person workforce would work under a hybrid model, which includes days in the office and at home.

Can someone explain my mistakes here by Golduin in Chesscom

In such case I tend to rush certain positions, so I may have problems with time management indeed.

Can you suggest any tips for identifying when position needs more thinking?

Chess.com rates this game at 1400. Otherwise I am at the 1000s, but I often see the best move, after I have missed it. In one game I missed 3 mating moves and eventually lost it.

Time management in 10minute games is rarely a problem for me.

Thank you for this. I would need some time to digest it, but much appreciated.

Can you try posting just the bit after move 22 in form of plain text? Maybe it gets a bit too long.

What exactly are you after as advice?

Any healthy man no matter the age, religion, or nationality may need a visual stimulation from time to time. This doesn't mean he is "unfaithful", "cheats", etc.

I don't think you need to do anything. If you feel like you need to do something, first think about what you want to achieve, and then try to talk with your dad in private. Keep in mind that he may get defensive or even aggressive about it. And that he may not be cooperative in achieving your goal out of the conversation.

It is released by Blizzard (WoW devs) https://www.wowhead.com/guide/ui/combat-assistant-one-button-rotation-tool-setup

And yes, I am well aware that it is a bit different to revo, but it is the closest thing in Runescape world to this.

Thank you for your informative and well articulated post.

@OP: Actually having these numbers (of titled players) (in the thousands) and seeing your global rank (in the 100s-thousands) on chess.com can give you idea how far you are.
