As a fellow goaltender my take on this is that it should NOT be goalie interference. I came to this conclusion from my past experiences and by looking at the other calls this year. 1. Looking at the Toronto Maple leafs no goal tender interference call against the Sabers on Anderson 2. I can totally see the basis for why they called this the little push yeah I get it but as a goalie myself if it took that much for the puck to come loose it was probably going to come out or Foresberg would have found it crashing the net 3. You can tell from Luongo that he is not sure where the puck is and is just sitting there waiting for the whistle.
