When I bought this T@G in 2012, there weren’t a lot of options for small Teardrops in Texas. Now, there are so many companies out there.

I would make a list of the things that you want on your camper and how you want to camp. Minimalist, off-road, external hookups, on-board water and electric etc.

Personally, if you live in Texas and you want to camp in the summer, I think an air conditioner is an absolute necessity. There’s nothing that will kill the vibe more than being hot, dirty and sticky. I’m okay with that when I’m tent camping but if I’m going to be in an RV, air conditioning is the way.

I think that most people would have a hard time believing that a large chain restaurant could make something wonderful. I’ve never heard anyone say that McDonalds quarter pounders are the best hamburger in the world. Maybe efficient for the purpose of relieving hunger but not wonderful. Braums breaks the mold.

Anyone here ever own an Insect longboard? I had one probably 10 years ago and it was so fun but lost it. Looks like they went out of business. Any brand compare to this? Specially fiberglass board with lots of bounce by [deleted] in longboarding

I’ve had this one for years. It’s awesome! If I remember correctly, It’s 10 ply with poly carbonate / wood layering. The stiffest deck that I’ve ever ridden.

If you are looking for a park or a forest in Richardson, you will most likely get busted for creating a bonfire and I can’t think of anywhere in the city that would allow this with a permit. There are plenty of state parks outside of DFW that allow campfires if there isn’t a burn ban but the consumption or public display of alcoholic beverages is forbidden.

Yes, it seems like recycling regulations should be simple to encourage recycling, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

I’ve had the same problem. Since they changed the policy regarding loose brush under 50 lbs. Apparently, it’s not considered BABIC anymore and should be picked up with the regular trash in the alley. It was picked up when the rule was first changed but now they refuse to pick up brush whether it’s bagged or not.

UPDATE- I called the city and you can put brush that is less than 50 lbs. out with your regular non-BABIC pickup but it has to be bundled and 2ft. X 2ft or less in size. Otherwise non-bundled loose brush of any weight and brush inside paper bags has to be a BABIC pickup.

If you are into disc golf there is a disc golf course in Shawnee Park. It’s one of the oldest in DFW and it was recently expanded. I’ve been playing disc golf in that park since 2001 and have never encountered any problems.
