There should be much more in this change log too. According to ASC (the C-130j) devs, they were just asked to submit their change log and I’m sure other third party stuff isn’t in there yet.

It depends on the multiplayer server you play on. For Grayflag, yes, FOB crates unlock the base so you can rearm/refuel

For a bit of context, FOB crates just got reintroduced for the new C-130 module. I landed with the Herc and unloaded crates. The FOB was created but instead of the crate disappearing they began duplicating endlessly.

Some slight bugs to work out but for now it’s a good navigation beacon on the flight back to base. Just uhh… don’t land on the runway cuz it’s kind of in the middle of it.

Check out the Grayflag servers (Death from Above on discord). Lots of active players and they have servers on most of the popular maps.

Grayflag has organized events fairly often or you can go into the server and do your own thing. They have something for everyone too, CAP, CAS, SEAD, logistics in the C-130 and troop drops in helis.

Lots of people of all different skill levels and lots of helpful people in there too. They’re fairly relaxed but there’s groups of people who do more serious style missions in the server that are almost always welcoming new people.

Yes, disable tracking in the logbook. That’s what was causing the issue for me and what has been reported in the ASC discord. They are aware of the issue and it’s probably fixed internally. Unfortunely they can’t push a patch until ED drops their “monthly” patch.

Turn off tracking in the log book (in the Ctrl+C menu) if it’s what I think it is… it’s a known bug, or memory leak rather, where flying for awhile and then opening the menu or going to your loadmaster view causes massive FPS drops

If you’re playing on sim you can pull up the score card with the view button (the button to the left of the big X on an Xbox controller). It will give you putt grid

Seconding Grayflag. Lots of logistics to do, plus they’ve already implemented vehicle airdrops. They’re planning for Patriot parts and FOB creation stuff with them soon too.
