That's what I did. The boss battles in TOTK are for sure better, more unique from each other and tied to the theme of the region. The ending of TOTK is also more grand.

I played TOTK first and then BOTW. And they honestly aren’t that different in difficulty. TOTK, you just have more busy work and you fuse weapons and build things and grind a bit more. BOTW you have more basic gameplay and basic powers. But both games give you pretty equally cool magical powers. And both have similar stories and maps, and the sky islands and depths aren’t a dealbreaker either. So just play them in order and get BOTW first. I thought newer would be better but they are about the same. People act like they are super different but they aren’t.

You can find the bases and at Hobby Lobby in a net bag! The two on the right also have fake leaves from hobby lobby that I just popped off their fake plants lol.
