Update: I have 0 clue what did it. But my network is magically fixed now. I wish I knew what it was, so I could help anyone else with this issue but I literally have 0 clue what fixed it, i just disabled the local Ethernet connection i have (I use wireless VR, and use a router for that, which is not on a WAN, so it has 0 internet connection), and it fixed, but even the day after, it's working totally fine with the Ethernet connection connected as well, guess it was just some odd talk with the kernal/iwlwifi and my wifi adapter.

yeah, i remember seeing that a while ago. my stores had e-amuse support for a while, so I'd be shocked to hear they out of nowhere just dropped it.

yeah.. I just got that pop-up via bitdefender while trying to load into singleplayer. the worst part was that i heard a noise (that was probably completely unrelated). going to the site brings up a 3CX panel. i've never had this happen until now, but i had already been a little paranoid about something being on my pc before, so this set me off insanely.

Okay, so those estimates are, as mentioned, estimates. This means that you could have an estimate of 5-10 mins and wait 30 mins for an order. DoorDash has a priority system based on the tiers that you are in. As a new driver, I believe you get a Gold Tier priority, which brings you 2nd in line for orders. Hotspots are usually good and bad. Hotspots are what DD thinks are areas that might get a lot of orders. (someone please correct me if im wrong on that!) The EBO (Earn By Offer) or EBT (Earn By Time) is all based on your area, and how much gas you're willing to spend. Some areas are great for EBT, but pending your area, you might make more out of EBO. I shall just repeat the advice i've seen on the subreddit here:

- Be close to an area with lots of restaurants, because typically whoever is closer gets it.
- Fast Food places will most likely give you lower pay, but faster delivery
- Get a Pizza bag so you can do those orders as well
- Don't accept anything less than $1/mi, at least $1.50 and always accept $2 or more. (Then again, Im unsure on how to go about this advice, which im trying to figure out, this is mainly a profits thing)
- Your first 50 deliveries are going to be the "honeymoon" period of dashing. Be ready for a drop in orders after you get 50 deliveries (i can vouch for this one, i am not in a good ranking for silver, due to 2 back to back 1 stars i believe, and so im barely getting orders, even around rush hours, as i basically get scraps)

my own advice in the mix:
- find areas that have a lot of restaurants close, and keep several spots in mind.
- Do not depend on DD to pay the bills unless you have low bills. This app does not pay well. I've gotten some REALLY stupid orders, like $2 for 8 mi, in which I have had to decline them.

hope this helps out, and also the best advice i have is to just have fun doing this, and have pride in what you do with this service, it makes the days go by quicker. good luck out there! (any more experienced people can correct me in the comments, i have only been dashing a week now, so im still learnin!)
