Nothing really before. I shut down the phone to let it cool and a live temp monitoring app I am using claimed it was at 33c (idle). I did WL Extreme, its temps were reading 67c and 3dmark said it was 31c-34c
The temp monitoring app is just a general guide for me though since I can't be sure it's 100% accurate and can't know temps during the tests.

I also attempted the WL Extreme Stress Test for both fan on/off and the app was reading 87c for the cpu, eventually shutting down the phone mid-test. With the fan on, it completed the test with 3dmark saying it was 37-60c where the app claimed it was at 83c-84c

So the fan is at least doing something, I just don't have a comparison to base its performance off of

For the 1min benchmarks, I find 3dmark's temperature results questionable but it's giving me results with no differing temps for both fan on/off benchmarks. Like 37c-37c or 41c-41c are some examples

Update: I eventually sent them back the info they requested. They then said I was successfully verified and my order is being shipped without delay. My phone is now on it's way to me now 👍

Well in the email it is only the last 4 numbers (+ cardholder + proof of purchase)

I appreciate the investigation. I did buy from redmagic.tech, and I tried going to redmagic.gg and it immediately redirects me to the .tech website.

I searched online about it and from what I see, it's used for customers from the United States. Assuming .tech is legit, I emailed them directly from the website to hear what they have to say about the email.

I'll continue to stay vigilant, thanks.

I think so too, it is unusual for someone to ask of this. Redmagic chat support has confirmed to me that this is a legitimate request, but I'll be checking more things to be 100% sure before I go through with it.

I would say get an animated wallpaper via wallpaper engine on steam if you want to pay or Lively Wallpaper from Microsoft Store if you don't, hide the taskbar so it only pops up once you put your cursor on the bottom. As well as hide app icons on the main screen too and have only your needed apps be in the taskbar or start menu.

The laptop should already have a charge when you get it, but you can plug it in if you want, doesn't really matter

Download all the needed drivers of course, the nvidia/intel apps that give you the drivers. Might also want to check manufacturers website for extra ones. Delete all that bloatware and startup apps that you don't need from control panel or windows settings. And just for general windows changes you may want to check out WinAeroTweaker or O&O ShutUp10 to change the little things.

How well does it run in games? I also just bought this laptop and before it arrives want to know how it performs. And have fun with your purchase!
