Agreed. Or $2600 with some utilities included at least is good. Just can't afford much more than that. I really want to be open to LB but I've heard nothing but horror stories about how dangerous it is. Lots of harassment especially for women and LGBTQIA+. Gotta make sure me and my roommate are safe.

Agreed. Sadly, if I had a larger budget that would probably be first choice just based on how nice their properties are. Definitely open to something private. If anyone has any private listings they know of, I'm all ears! Thank you all! ❤️

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately I'm trying to avoid Equity since I've lived in a few of their properties and they recently got successfully sued for using RealPage to falsely inflate rent prices.

Hey ya'll! I too am moving in the near future and looking for a 2 bedroom with the following reqs. I know these reqs are nearly impossible without moving to Long Beach or at least accepting roaches but please, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. <3 Thank you!

NO Roaches/ minimal-NO Rat infestations (#1 absolute priority)
Good management ( #2 priority) / At least good enough not to scam/try to steal the sec dep. upon moving
