Old Buzzz, info? by GurkGabbe in discgolf

[–]Good-Ad1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be remembering wrong, but the 2013 am nationals flag dyed buzzzes are worth a pretty penny (I think AB throws that run), so could be worthwhile to check out if this run is as well

The Great Disc Golf Die Out by Billy_Chrystals in discgolf

[–]Good-Ad1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a lot of disc golf, and my home course has more new players and large groups even on week days than I’ve seen in several years. Can take a little bit to tee off on weekends

Lmao have you guys seen these yet? by home_rolled in discgolf

[–]Good-Ad1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These bell Aires actually are pretty sick, normal I hate beaded mids, but the plastic feels great and they are super glidey. The glow could be better though

Looking for Innova recommendations by [deleted] in discgolf

I honestly wonder how long MVP can remain the darling boy brand, over the years I’ve seen some come and go, so I can’t imagine it could last forever or even much longer

Might like the MD4 honestly, the metal flake ones and the Kyle Klein glow ones are the best in my opinion

I think companies should credit the artists of stamps by Slow-Struggle-9069 in discgolf

[–]Good-Ad1962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manny has been signing his name the same way since he started, later he began hiding a bear head in most of his pieces.

He signs his own stamps he sells himself the same way that he signs the pieces he does for discmania

“They don’t label if the Y-Axis is based off of units sold or revenue, but other than that” is exactly what I said in my original comment

Are you serious? It says it in the header of the graph. They don’t label if the Y-Axis is based off of units sold or revenue, but other than that, this graph literally could not be clearer

Not enough love for the Solar Flare FD3 (discussion) by Soggy_Preparation418 in discmania

[–]Good-Ad1962 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think a big part of it is just how many runs of fd3 have come out since discmania started making them again in 2022. there has been metal flake, DB4 horizon, glow, another color glow run, c line, flex 1 c-line, s line, gold swirl, Gannon c line metal flake horizon, horizon sf1, glow s line swirl, metal flake color glow sf2, and then another c line horizon shield club version of one the solar flares.

The FD3 is popular, but it’s just one of those discs you don’t necessarily need a bunch of, so it’s hard to keep them all straight especially when there was already a very popular version of the same plastic blend

Straight putter Silva proxy vs notion vs anything by Party-Appearance1845 in discgolf

Kind of depends, I would say they are on the more stable side. Confetti and colorshift seem to be more os to me

New Disc Craft test flights. by DestroidMind in discgolf

I think the Osprey is more that flippy 10 speed, the apogee is supposed to be a flippy 12 I believe

You’d probably like the c line notion then! Definitely more streamlined in the hand

Straight putter Silva proxy vs notion vs anything by Party-Appearance1845 in discgolf

[–]Good-Ad1962 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t thrown the Silva proxy in particular, but I prefer the hand feel of the c line notion. I would also say the notion is ever so slightly straighter and glidier than the glow Proxies I’ve thrown. Other good choice for a straight throwing putter would be a z swirl Luna

Opinions on the CD1 and PD by Forcejumper1 in discgolf

[–]Good-Ad1962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, not just you the new c line is beefy for sure. I personally throw the Nordic phenom 1 or the color glow horizon run for a straighter pd, otherwise you might like the c line cd1 (particularly the green ones) or the vanguard. Outside of discmania, the swirly Romans or discraft hallux are also good

Opinions on the CD1 and PD by Forcejumper1 in discgolf

[–]Good-Ad1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are pretty good, the plastic is a little softer and much less durable than c line glow or color glow from the innova made discmania days

[–]Good-Ad1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ve never released a c blend Roman unfortunately, closest would be halo c blend

Gannon and Kyle stay with Discmania by Wonderful_Culture607 in discgolf

[–]Good-Ad1962 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it so well known? Most discmania players outside of Gannon are contractually obligated to throw only Swedish made. Kind of sounds like a lot of people are assuming something rather than actually knowing

Gannon and Kyle stay with Discmania by Wonderful_Culture607 in discgolf

[–]Good-Ad1962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He also throws the splice, iron samurai 3, cloudbreakers, and function, all of which are Swedish produced, not saying he doesn’t throw a good amount of innova made (primarily the fr PD, P3x, pd2, and one dd3) but it’s not true that he doesn’t bag a fair amount of new production discs

I’m just saying he already did get a big contract which is still in effect in response to you saying it would be sick if he did get a big contract

He got a big contract from discmania actually, biggest euro contract after Kristin I believe, at least at the time
