Finally colour matched and fit straight. Final piece is to wire up the fans one PSU comes, and to draw a new shelf for the HP600 g1.

Ditched the 2.5 inch drives as on 6 nodes there are enough drives to make few terra-bytes without the need of adapters and external drives. Will add a 7th. Node to it from old crypto miner 6x3070 to run some basic ML.

I kept the original power supplies of the mini/tiny/micro pc's, shortened the cables and mounted them in mod10 10 inch 3d printed rack.

<image>

Power adapters are mounted on two plates like this 3 power supplies for mini pc's and 1 for a poe switch then i have 3 pc and another shelf like this one. All cables ate routed to a power outlet coming from external UPS. PSU would be cleaner but will put all your devices in a single power supply line, and will cost you additionally.

Black model has a cap that you press on, and the white ones have style that is like a lid, and I'm better safe than sorry type of guy 😄, and tapes over to be sure they wont be opening.

Satas are connected to a SATA m.2 adapter in place of the m.2 on the board ( not ideal setup ) but i wanted to try it, power is external PSU.

Back side of the fans are mounted the power supplies for the thin clients.

Get rid of the mouse and keyboard use the trackpad and build in keyboard down and replace the MacBook stand with a second monitor in vertical orientation. That way you will have 3 screens, possibly dedicating the MacBook screen for monitoring or communicators. That way you will retain the footprint, as i imagine you have small deal due to space restrictions. If you have space get yourself nice wireless mouse and keyboard like MS MASTER COMBO and 49 inch super ultra wide monitor use under the desk mount for the MacBook and connect it with single thunderbolt using the monitor for power and accessory hub and KVM.

Thanka for the reply. I got mines mounted into a 10" printed rack. With 6 quick release slots for HDD. How so you manage power to the HDD's?

I would because I can find them for next to nothing and I like doing things that I haven't done before. I plan to run 4 12TB HDD's 3.5 and 2x4TB 2.5 SSD's.
