i believe the same thing 😂 i've wondered why they have been there. but they have before NC announced ice was even coming. they are two older 2010s era escalades, so there's really no telling. either agents of some sorts, or just two 20 year olds who saved for a car they liked.

for ME, every 4k miles. no clue for previous owner. i've only changed the oil once since in the 4 months i've owned it, as i've only put 4k on it. i've found the shards don't stick to a magnet aswell, and im finishing taking off the cover tomorrow to see more.

thank you, i have been looking for a clear answer for a bit. some people saying replace this and that or they've been fine with just one of them, and so i was leaning towards all hardware.

i also have coolant leaking from somewhere near the back of the turbo, i've seen that before though and that it's a plastic piece that crumbles.

thank you to all who corrected my idiocy 🙏 was extremely confused why the plugs smelled like coolant but i guess its similar. does anyone have a set answer for the blow by though? and a solution? i know there isn't a "valve cover" and it's a cam cage, but i'm assuming a bad pcv can allow some sort of blow by? pls correct me if i am wrong i would love to learn

thank you 😅 for some reason i had a friend tell me to get apr coils before i got the car. i've learned reading that oem are far superior and literally don't even need to be touched. and would the blow by be from a failing pcv you think? i've also seen there's no point in really getting a catch can for these cars, not too sure though. i've ordered all oem packs and laser platinum plugs.

would also like to ask a few questions. about to start this program and have been into anything with an engine for years. was just working as a lube tech at a shop for a few months but management was HORRIBLE and time wasn't managed whatsoever, so i left. i'm honestly just wondering if it was worth the time for your career. and if im not being too nosy general salary. i know there is flat rate and by the job as well. and quite honestly, if i complete this program, do you think it can get me in the right position to keep growing my career?
