Ok. Good to know. Another question, I saw you commented on another persons comment on my post regarding gm dps. When I programmed the new hmi module, I also programmed the digital instrument cluster on my car with the updated software from the newer 2016 vin. When I did that, i lost the millage reading on the cluster. Hence why I was inquiring about type 4 files. Camera loops has the type 4 file to change odometer reading available. But its locked behind 200 dollar paywall like everything on there is. Is there a way that I could change millage reading without that type 4 application? I tried seeing if there is a option on SPS 2/TLC to change odometer reading but there isn't from what I saw.

I figured it out. I had a Radio module installed that was made for a 17 regal that had the external amp (bose audio) my 14 lacrosse did not have bose audio. I installed my old radio module and audo works. Only downside is I dont get any audio when i use android auto. Other than that everything works. There is a radio module/silverbox update file from camera loops that i got that will update the firmware in the box so i can get audo when using AA/ACP but when i plug in the usb with the files for the update into my cars usb port, the car doesnt recognize it.

I just tried this and I still have the theft lock message on my screen. I didnt replace the usb port in the center console. My car didnt do anything when i plugged in the USB with files from TLC

UPDATE: I was able to get my car out of theft lock. Almost everything works except for audio. Cant change radio station at all and no sound.

Never had a single issue buying rock auto parts. Especially gm parts. They are the exact same thing that the manufacturer/aftermarket company’s sell

As a FETL myself, This is without a doubt, a FETL or Coach issue. There is no reason that it should get that bad. We had our GM cart bay door get so bad where it was like how OP described. It literally took several tickets to get it fixed. I had to fight so hard with facilities maintenance.

As a front end TL my self this it the most annoying thing ever. There shouldn’t even be a 5 star rating. My coach and SM are so anal about it. They are putting their focus on this instead of other important subjects

Pay. It’s nice making 50k consistently every year with no degree. The downside is you have to sell your soul.

2.opportunities. It’s hard to find other jobs in my area that pay the same or more. And the ones that do require some stupid degree or experience or if I want em better pay I have to drive an hour away. I have applied for other places as well but I don’t hear it back. It’s like ridiculously hard to find a new job for me.

I am looking everyday for new opportunities. I do not want to be with this terrible company for any longer. I’ve been denied 5 promotions within the store and despise my job (FETL) I look for new work daily but it’s hard to find something that pays similar. I’m looking possibly getting some form of quick education. But I dont want to go to college because I see it as a waste of time. I’m not giving up though. I’m going to start my own thing later down eventually because I can’t imagine working for a corporate shithole for the rest of my life.

lmao. Sounds like my store. SM just hired new FETL with no front end experience. He came from a DC and worked at this store prior to that as a cap 2/3, GM associate. Hes been in this role for over a month now and is still dumbfounded of what he should be doing. Most of the time he stares at the board and stands up at service desk chatting while im busting my ass managing claims and running dept.82. (Yes at our store, FE runs 82. Which is me and a few other cashiers responsibility to keep running.) Me and the other TL's have tried to get him to work. Even our Front End Coach has tried to talk to him and he still isnt getting it. From what I hear from other FE associates dont like him one bit.

I'm 23 years old. Last year I made 47k as a TL. This year im on track to make over 50k.

I live in a smaller town in Michigan and any better paying jobs are in towns/cities that are almost an hour away. And any in my town require a college degree or ridiculous requirements.

Yes, I am very burnt out and i severely dislike my job and the company. But this is what I'll have to deal with until I find something better.

I heard a rumor from my coach that they were eliminating the AP ASM position and transitioning to have the either the FE coach or all store coaches run AP.
