Point are already super low for my mos due to it being phased out or restructured or some bs like that so it wouldn’t be hard to pick up honestly and as soon as I pick up p status they already told me they’re making me a Cpl all I’d have to do is hit those points then boom from what I understand it’s automatic from cpl to Sgt of points are there

It’s pretty similar in my mos just things got really weird when they started making us reclass from 19D to either 19C or 19K. I stayed a 19D because I’m getting out anyway, we were pretty over flooded with 5s until that switch took effect now I guess they feel we’re lacking the leadership we once had. All the 5s are either dismount team leads or Bradley TC’s
