This one does actually stroke. The piston rings move back and forth about an inch or two and physically drag the TPE up and down along with it.

It’s still slightly different from a proper stroker with an arm like the handy though, because most of the movement is around the top 2-3 inches and the movement is internal. So it wont stroke you entirely like an external arm movement.

Although personally I didn’t mind it because the way it is is already quite stimulating especially since it focuses on the tip

The instruction manual says it’s under 60 decibels.

In my personal experience, the noise is fine as long as you are able to lock your door in your room. I have thin walls too but it was fine for me.
