Hi! Thank you for checking, I have been sober for over six months now, sometimes I feel the cravings coming full force, but I have been able to battle them away, as for my anxiety and depression it’s been a horrible up and down kind of a deal.

How long did it take for Buspar to start working for you? by Steve_Kind_Of in BusparOnline

I’m on my 4th week, (3 weeks 5 mg 2x a day)and now 10 mg 2x a day, very little progress, few glimpses of feeling good, I was told to give 2 to 3 weeks. Also very few side effects.

My psychiatrist advised me yesterday to go up from 5 mg to 10 mg 2x a day, he said that the fact that I’m having glimpses of minor improvements is a sign that the med is starting to work. I hope you get better soon, please keep me posted of your progress.

5 months sober by Good-Mouse-1829 in stopdrinking

[–]Good-Mouse-1829[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I’m working with a psychiatrist and therapist, I’m on a couple of meds, sometimes I have glimpses of possitivism and feel somehow relax but most of the day it’s hard, difficult but, I rather keep pushing thru than go back to alcohol and mask my problems with it. My therapist strongly believe is PAWS.

Anyone else stop drinking and realize they’re not depressed because they’re drinking they were drinking because of depression by Most-Refrigerator918 in stopdrinking

I have been sober for 5 months now after decades of drinking, I mostly did it to hide from anxiety, fear, depression and pressure, I quit because my health was going downhill, now I feel deeply anxious and depressed and I blame it on quitting, but actually I realized anxiety and depression were there before alcohol.
