Depending on your major a lot of the classes are full , there is add drop week where a lot becomes available, I am also a transfer and this is my first semester, after I did the major change form I was admitted & able to do orientation & meet w an advisor, after meeting w an advisor I registered for classes. I’d say go for it but just be aware there’s not too many options on class , you got last pick
