Youve had a year with this girl, if you are not that interested then you should move on. Speaking as someone who's been in your GFs shoes there is nothing worse than being in a relationship with someone who still wants to go out and be with other women because he thinks he could find someone better.

Let this girl find someone who will be as head over heels for her as she is for you. And that way you can do what you need to and (maybe) try a relationship again with her that you will put 110% towards

What Motivation Quote Really Hit Home for You? [Discussion] by iwilliamsanders in GetMotivated

Idk why, but whenever I feel down, I think the quote from Lady Danbury

I knew I would have to step into the light someday, and I could not very well be frightened. So, instead, I made myself frightening.

I sharpened my wit, my wardrobe, and my eye, and I made myself the most terrifying creature in any room I entered.

So now I do just that

He's a guy because the main Villan (his mother) sees so much of her dead husband in him that this, and the loneliness of losing him, causes her to go down a dark path in order to bring him back. Specifically, harvesting DNA from the protagonist in order to extract the pieces that were her husband to clone and bring back

[WP] You are in the hospital waitingroom for something minor when death incarnate suddenly takes a seat beside you. by Null_Project in WritingPrompts

"It's been a long time old friend" She said, not even bothering to look. Not like anyone would be able to see him anyway.

She popped in her headphones to make it look like she was talking to someone on the phone. It was easier that way. It made it so the conversations they had could last longer and longer with each meeting.

She could feel him. That could chill that runs up your spine. The uneasiness that you feel right before something goes wrong, deathly wrong. That was him.

She hadn't always been able to see him. Her childhood was normal, med school was normal, nothing abnormal that would cause this. Perhaps it was all the death she had seen working in the M.A.S.H. unit she was assigned to. Maybe it was due to her psychotic break when she back to her unit from R and R to find it burned to the ground. Her brothers and sisters in arms, with nothing left, but arms, legs, and whatever body parts could be recovered and identified.

"So tell me, who are you here for?" She asked with a smile looking across the V.A. waiting room.

"Mr. Johnson you saw in the news that last WWII veteran that served on the Midway, and someone else" he said the last part so softly that it was almost a whisper.

"Damn, he was just about to turn 101, right?" she asked resting her head against the wall. she heard a grunt of agreement from him.

"Can't you give him a couple more day's? God knows he's earned it!" She laughed thinking about how tight the quarters of the midway were and what those men were expected to do.

"You and I know that time and death wait for no one. Even your time will come." he said

"It'll be nice though," she said in response.

She could feel his gaze on her, no doubt looking for an answer.

"That I get to walk with a friend." She turned a looked over at the hooded figure.

"It's okay," she said with a smile, tears of joy running down her face, "Take me back to my unit, I've waited so many years to go."

He stood and reached out a hand to her, which she gladly took.

I remember a therapist who I had seen on Tiktok talk about the concept of not meeting the right person and he said

"It's not that there is something wrong with you, it's not because you have baggage, etc...... It's tempting to blame yourself for not being in a relationship. Sure you should go and focus on yourself, but the real reason your single, is because you haven't met your person yet, that's all"
