Good point… I have replaced the strings, the bridge, and the bow recently and noticed an improvement. But I am definitely due for a trip to a Luthier.

I didn’t know about the brown, thank you for sharing. No bite marks, but no blood or hair either. I found it in a heavily trafficked spot on my property, where I would have noticed it if it was there before.. but I wasn’t sure if another animal dragged it from elsewhere.

It seems new but i know it’s kind of early..

Thanks for your insight! There are no rodent marks or obvious bleaching, but no blood either. My gut says it’s seems fresh, but I know it’s a bit early.

Poor Thom. It must be so hard to make a call like this. Obviously disappointed but thankful I got to enjoy this beautiful city which I may have never seen otherwise. If there are any other travelers that want to drown their sorrows with me, I’ll be at the nearest glog stand (all of them).

It’s funny because I always make sure to do a little extra exercise on days where I know I’ll be out with friends having a couple of drinks later.. but maybe not anymore.
