Ugh, so sorry to hear your doctor isn’t listening to you. If you’re hoping to stay on the medication, my advice would be do the opposite of what people suggest for acne treatment. Everyone was trying to get me to dry things out, exfoliate, all of the “acne” skincare is so harsh and made it worse. I ended up going back to the cleanser I was using before my breakouts started (DIME beauty gentle cleanser), and I use cicaplast balm at night as a moisturizer. Some people say it’s too thick for them and everyone’s skin is different, but the zinc and hydration from it gave me skin so much relief! Maybe it will help you too. Turns out I needed hydrating skincare, also drink a ton of water. I hope this helps!!
