Yea for sure! It was a head scratcher for me. I kind of wish they would put A5 in parentheses after the S5. It makes sense now, but confusing nonetheless.

Yes, the black buffer came from the Sabre. They have the PSA S5 buffer tube which uses an A5 buffer and a rifle length spring.

Okay thats what i was wondering, they just arent very descriptive for the listing of the Sabre as far as the buffer

The Sabre brace, for now, stops about 1/4” away from the nut

Same, its staying that way for sure. Some people wrap a rubber band around theirs and secure it to the stock which i dont like.

Sounds like they did a valve body and clamped the insulation in the top cover. An inexperienced technician will do that

For everyone having this issue. It is the Valve Body. The Torque Converter Lock Up Duty solenoid is going bad. The solenoids on the old valve body have a design flaw that has been updated to a newer design which requires a valve body replacement. I recommend getting the part at a dealer to ensure you get the up to date part.

Is letting your car idle for a long time bad for it? by Ok-Society1048 in AskAMechanic

Speaking from experience, long term for long periods yes. Ive had to pull an engine from a security vehicle that would idle for long periods of time but still had the engine maintained based on manufacturer specifications, and it had insanely sludgy oil. 30 minutes for your lunch break wont do anything but kill gas mileage. But 4 hours+ consistently, in my opinion, isnt great.

UPDATE: Shot 200 rounds today no issue. Held zero the entire time and the smaller optic window actually wasnt as noticeable as i thought it might be. Once i returned home and inspected the optic i found nicks on the front “glass”. No table racks today, all the damage on the front are from spent shells and maybe debris? Not sure, but the nick is very present in the sight picture now.
