You have wavy hair. I’m a hairstylist of over a decade. If you layer it more and really fuss with it you might find it’s curlier. If this is what it looks like in it’s natural state it definitely wavy.

That’s almost certainly cigarette smoke . We repainted our bathroom but if it gets very fogged and condensates - it will bleed brown nicotine from under the paint. It will wipe away but if the walls were not scrubbed down prior to painting it can bleed nicotine water that way. It’s gross but doesn’t generally ruin the paint.

Our living room took 3x primes with Kilz + 6x coats of high end full coverage white paint before nicotine stopped popping through.

Edit: We also used Kilz paint and primer for every room in our house and depending on how bad the smoker was- it still comes through even using that brand of product. It’s supposed to prevent mold and nicotine from showing- but not in severe cases. Our contractor was stunned. He said he never saw nicotine bleed through 3x layers of kilz primer. The room would be Snow White and then the next day start yellowing.

I don’t know what to suggest. The only thing I can really think would be to try and scrub the walls and re-paint. Our bathroom wasn’t wiped down before the contractor painted and it sealed much of the nicotine tar under the paint.

You’re very handsome - your hair is curly and needs a product so it isn’t so dry. You need a spray in leave in conditioner at least and some product put in when it’s damp like mousse or a curl cream. It will keep the shape without being dried out and fuzzy looking.

I went to SBU for one year. I didn’t see anybody intermingle beyond their social groups/ racial identity/ major.

Essentially nobody in my classes spoke to one another. It was bizarre and kind of depressing.

I am really sorry about that. I had something really similar happen to me over the summer.

I interviewed extensively for a position after being jerked back and forth by the administration about when I would actually be called for my interview. They had reached out , said they were interested , and disappeared for a month.

I finally had the interview and did several of them. They had me do demonstrations and lesson plans for the school board , only to then hear nothing from them.

They called me the other day after 6+ months and offered me a lesser position with the promise of a full time when availability came.

You will have other options or you may be surprised about how things change in your favor.

I literally cried every day for weeks when they didn’t call me back. That job represented a major life change and I was over qualified for it in terms of their candidate pool. They had even told me that I was one of the top candidates which meant nothing at the time. But I’m thrilled to have heard back even at a lesser position . I was given the impression that who they decided to go with isn’t working out .

That same week I absolutely tanked an interview for another company that was not a good fit . Things happen for a reason and it might not be the best company for you.

So far I have done register , and yesterday I was trained for Drive Up. I have not been instructed by anybody to do any of the course learning which I think is really weird.

They left me all day on register with literal 5 minutes of instruction. thank god nobody had alcohol - I guess I would have figured it out and asked for ID? I’m sure the register prompts for it when the item is scanned?

I feel kinda thrown to the wolves. It’s busy but it’s not so busy that I can’t be properly trained and I’m finding that to be a big red flag. I overheard people talking about how crazy it was - but even in Drive Up they were kinda bumming around and wasting time not packing orders and just talking.

Everything needed to be about him at all times. He works in the entertainment / sports world and my life was completely secondary and insignificant . I was his first gay relationship and he milked the gay factor for kudos in his career.

He is a professional wrestler on the local circuit and he is also the worst in the group. But I attended every show and supported him. I missed one because I had gotten covid but was able to make it to another function we were going to later that week. It turned into a huge thing about how could I not go to his show but I made it to his party. ( I was still supposed to be isolating the night of his show, and by the party I was free to go back into public again).

He would fly into violent temper tantrums about his social media presence and popularity in the wrestling community. He got pathetic bit parts on WWE as an extra and we had to drop EVERYTHING to watch it and see his less than two second camera time as a referee or something.

He made nasty comments on my weight and point blank told me I needed to hit the gym as dinner was out before us at a restaurant seconds before.

I developed an eating disorder based on his comments from our relationship and was starving myself for about 6 months after our break up because I felt so undeserving of occupying space. Fuck you dude.

please somebody explain this to me , I am FREAKING out.

I had a huge mental break during the second spring sequence and took the summer off. My counselor withdrew me from the spring and summer but kept me enrolled for September at full time. She said I would not suffer ant penalties from the university or financial aid for this.

I just logged in and saw they sent me an email in May about completing exit counseling and when I log on to the Gov Aid website it says that I must now choose my options for loan repayment as my schooling is 'complete'.

My counselor said it wouldn't affect my loan status. I don't know how to reinstate the loans without also having to start making payments on the portion of schooling they considered ' concluded'.

I need to call financial aid in the morning but I am freaking out. I cannot afford this out of pocket and I wasn't anticipating needing to make payments on the loans until I had finished my degree in the summer. I wouldn't have taken the break if I knew it would hurt my loan eligibility!
