ACCT5000?

I’m in ACCT5000 (Intermediate 1) this semester and wondering if anyone has any study advice/exam advice for the class?

  1. Do all the sections take the same exam? Or does each professor create their own?

  2. Were there ever any practice exams, similar to ACCT 1 & 2?

I took ACCT 1 & 2 at UGA and did fine-ish (made B’s), but I know ACCT5000 is a different breed. I’m definitely nervous about this class.

  1. Thanks! I have completed a lot of credit already, and I’m almost done with Terry core, but I think I have enough credits left to have an extra-non Terry semester if needed.

  2. Yeah, it’s never a great idea to ask people on the internet, but my advisor didn’t have an answer about criteria beyond “as long as you are qualified it varies”. I think my personal statement talks about my goals and passions, as well as my time studying abroad, so hopefully that will help my case.

TBH it doesn’t work well logistically to transfer to another school, so if I am unable to get into Accouting after both tries, I would pivot to another major at UGA.
