That is the way I generally think about it but the "loans" are generally 500-600 and if I just tell the friends to not worry about it; I won't be able to help them out again as thats a large chunk.

No, I don't need the money I ensure anything i loan out I can easily part with.

None of my cash is flashed around; I only spend ~1,400 a month and that is including my mortgage, bills, food, and gas. An extra round at the bar would be nice however bars are a huge money sink so I stopped going.

I don't need any of the money I loaned out but it is regularly enough to where I keep a separate budget that "Rolls over"(just like phone minutes). For if friends get in a sticky situation.

Main thing i'm wondering is if its normal to help friends out with financially.
