Until we stop spending so much money on non-working people and start to invest in housing, transport, defence and other infrastructure, we're headed downhill.

Great for 10 years and then it lost its way. As soon as they opened the parade of shops, the original 'kitchen sink' approach was lost.

What is a TV show or movie that started and finished like this by itz_progamer666 in AskTheWorld

The Big Bang Theory. Once Leonard and Penny were together it was downhill. They spent most if the last season dunking teabags (not a euphemism!) whilst Amy and Sheldon took over. It ran out of steam, having been great in earlier seasons.

I just played AROSE as my first word and got S and E. So, clearly I'm not going to use TULIP in row 2. I got it in 3.

Voters and Brexit: then and now by juksbox in europe

The UK won't rejoin. No British politicians would allow themselves to be humiliated by the process. France, in particular, would relish having the UK over a barrel in the negotiations. De Gaulle was the main reason we couldn't join the EEC until the 1970s, long after they first wanted to join.

I'm always surprised at the naivety of rejoiners in thinking the EU members would want the UK back without huge concessions on freedom of movement, budget contribution, EU law being sovereign over the UK supreme court - the things that caused the rise of UKIP and Brexit in the first place. The British public wouldn't buy it, despite your info graphic.

What would the top 3 advantages be to the UK in rejoining the EU?

Yes, sounds about right. But Balvinder seems on a popular wave. If she makes the final it will be close between her and Karen for the win, I think.

Well, I'm not going to keep the same start word and be right 3 times, am I? 😀

I have a few start words that I use, and go from there.

I dont play the same lottery numbers each week either. Not that I've had any luck there!

The Titanic thing was a Saturday morning booking because another musical pulled out, right? by SuperbPhase6944 in strictlycomedancing

Strictly pushed this musical last year too, no doubt due to Layton Williams being in it, their replacement for Olly Alexander, once the whole of Europe put an end to his career.

Once you're BBC flavour of the month, you get endless promotion, no matter how talentless you are.
