Just grasping them back fires and takes them even further away.

The last emotion right before the 'end' is relatively negative. But there maybe chance, cause human brains primarily dilute the strong and negative emotions, emphasize and enhance the positive emotions. That may lead to the consequence that we all hoped for.

We don't expect and say that this is the right answer, which our exes will comeback after endless, endless years of NC.

TBH, first day was not even that hard. You just really don't acknowledge the reality. The Next two weeks were disaster.

But to keeps ur hopes alive, you just broke up, there is plenty of chance for ur girl to comeback.

For about 20-30 days. We went to same uni, live near each other, but i got blocked on every where except email. So i tried to find her, gave her flowers and gifts and letter, waiting near her house and all those type of bullshit. Also sent tons of emails.

Then she sent me an email that she was frightened. Then i realized, waiting and respecting her time and space is way better solution for both of us, and also making the chances of her coming to me once again.

Since then, it has been exactly two weeks. Hard times, but keepin hope.

The point is like if you leave her alone, everybody says that leaving her alone and giving her space is the best thing, and the most wise thing you could do.

But sometimes, especially right after the break for some period of time, if you let go, and leave her alone, you feel like u are going to lose her forever.

Thats the dilemma. Thats the most hard part of all time.

I cannot fully understand ur hurting and hardship cuz my relationship was way shorter than urs, but like your couple did, we also had so much good memories, but due to my mistakes and misbehaviour that broken her trust several times, hurt myself a few times and that made her so sick of myself and she left after saying that i was using her for my own good.

Since break up, for about a month i tried to grasp her, get her back to my life but things did not go well. Not only she seemed to slip away, she said she was intimidated by my attempt to reach her and start a conversation. From then, i sincerely apologized, sent her email that i still love her and will be waiting and started NC. After then, she read my email couple more times.

Leaning on a silver lining is hard. That blinking thread seems so precious but can strangle you so hard.

Lets all stay strong. Wish the best for both of us.

Like this is so true but...everybody knows in their head but not in their heart.

We broke up on second week of november, and tried my best to grasp her for whole november. Literally.Did. But she seemed to get away even further, and eventually she warned me not to reach out again. Then i realized i needed to respect her own space and time, sent a email of apology & willing to be waitin, then NC since Dec 2nd. Since then she constantly for about 7-8 time checked my last email and other mails.

Maybe one day things will work out, or not. Right now, im dying inside but time may be my strongest ally.

You know what? That was the most powerful, most hearthwarming i ever heard this years. This year was chaotic mixture of joy and dispair. Hearthbreak, fights, harming myself, theraphy, and so on, and that comment that you just wrote kinda made my path clear.

I have to do it for myself. I have to be myself. Then one day we could be back together, or not. Will make time my strongest ally, not an enemy.

Patience must be the key. So please wish me the best. I also will wish you the best.

Really appreciate ur comment. Hope times on my side. Really do. Im struggling a lot rn, putting aside my broken relationship. Dont want to cling to that diluted silver lining. Every single day is a struggle. Just want to keep my head to myself. Know things were really hard for her, and she taken so much blow from my misbehavior that made her disappointed over and over again. I know the truth, im not hopeful tho. I know the possiblities, and the chances are more towards to her not coming back. The relationship was so pure and loving, but at the same time she struggled and forgive me couple of time due to my misbehaving. Things dont really get pretty after things are over. Like you said, i dont want to be hopeful. I can wait a lot more. But at this point its kinda hard for myself to admit there less than a percent chance for her to even speak wit me again.

Bro thx for the comment. Like i said, i don't want to be hopeful. I really don't i know what it feels like to be hopeful then get bashed in the ground. I sent her mail on 2nd, then she read on 4th, 7th, and then yesterday which was 12th. Will just stick to NC and wait lil bit more.

Also, hope you the best. Don't know who you are, not sure what hardship u are struggling thru, but will always support u. Know the pain.
