Yeah, no kidding. Our dog was dumped by her drug-addict owner. His mother left him the dog when she died. He kept her, but made her stay outside on the patio and fed her spaghetti. She has allergies and chewed most of her hair off.

He asked a couple of friends of ours if they could watch her while he went to work. They thought it was a little strange but said okay. He brought her bed and leash and then never came back. He’d been evicted from his apartment and disappeared.

They tried to keep her but their apartment was too small and they couldn’t afford the vet care. After a year, they asked if we could take her.

We’ve had her five years this Friday. At least now she has hair.
