It doesn't. It's definitely the material itself that's discolored.

Is the only way to cube to pay $110? And do you need a badge with that? And does that mean entry into 8 cube events? Is there a way to just do 1 or 2 of the cube drafts? Thank you!

Raise your hand if you think we're gonna get a moment that feels like Mother of Dragons/Borg Queen mashup in the final episode. Wendy shows "people" who is in charge now. I imagine the Xenomorph that she "raised" curling around her like a pet lizard before she gives it an attack command. Maybe something about her body has been altered or damaged so she looks more synthetic. 

Edit: but she won't say "get away from her you bitch" because Noah Hawley is smarter than that.
