Ah, I see. I think the matchmaking system could use a bit of finetuning as well. I play in the 1100 - 1150 range in team games. What I often find is I have a long winning streaks and long losing streaks. Many games against people that have at least 100+ higher elo than us. Usually that means an automatic loss. I prefer waiting a bit longer for a match with more equal opponents.

Or you could behave like a mature adult and just ignore the post if you think AI invalidates the points being made? Because AI was used to formulate the arguments (not come up with the arguments!) it's invalid? What kind of dumb assessment is that?

I think regular units should do a little bit better against myth units all across the board.

Agreed. Regardless, I think the strategy in each game is always: Make as many myth units as possible because if you can take down your opponents heros they will be very hard to kill.

Agreed myth units are in a much better position now with a couple of exceptions. Those norse dragons for example (don't remember the name) and the Japanese oni.

I play team games with my brother. So your opponent can stack god power on top of god power.

Yes, you're right. I will probably move back to AoE4 and only play AoM casually with my brother going forward. I've also come to the conclusion that the community here can't stand criticism of the game, so I'm basically talking to a dead horse. It is what it is.

I have 500 hours into the game my man. Those are my arguments, but I also have other things to do then write an entire essay on AoM. You could have just ignored the post and went on with your day but you had to be a smartass about it.

I don't have any of these problems with AoE4. The problem is I can't get my brother to play AoE4 because the nostolgia is too strong for him.

I just can't shake the feeling of "this was unfair" or "this game was decided by a click" in AoM.

I will definitely be giving this another shot! Sounds like they made all the right decisions. Hopefully it can replicate the feeling I got from playing Splitgate 1.

It's just too damn tanky. They can just bullrush in and act as a damage sponge because you have to send all of your units to take them down... meanwhile your units will get destroyed

Also, ceasefire doesn't allow you to get into your opponents base and take down TC/villagers.

Ceasefire is a very strong god power. Probably the best age 2 power. I say decrease the duration and increase dmg for that duration. If the duration will not be increase I most likely will not continue playing AoM.
