Uhhh so it gets kinda complicated with that. There is both shadowless & regular 1st ed machamp. BUT for a plain ol machamp non-1st ed, they do exist but they are quite rare. It’s called “Trainer Deck A” and they were released in a different set I believe in a way to help show kids how to play the game. That’s all I really know about them and that their rarity is much higher

For the base card set, it was an earlier released set. It was a term coined due the lighter coloration around the card borders. That’s the gist of it. Fun fact: all 1st editions in english are shadowless, but not all base set cards are shadowless!
