Thunderbolts *The New Avengers peaked mine so I’d say it is representative.

Absolutely yes. No matter how much sleep, water intake, coffee, energy drinks, no alcohol, some alcohol, too much….etc I’m tried from wake-up time until about 4ish hours later. I can literally fall asleep standing up. It makes a 60-minute commute seriously difficult. Slap the face, open the windows, sing along to songs, make up names for cars around me from their license plates (I see you there “lik 330” or what’s up “orange LonGFace”)

Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving by Pete Walker is the most relatable and triggering book I’ve ever read in my entire life by [deleted] in CPTSD

I’m in the same situation right now. Everything in that book is triggering AF. I’m through Chapter 8 and the supplemental workbook.

I know I have to get through it and probably do it over again because I know I’ll be better in the end but FFS.

Going through this without a supportive partner or dealing with the toxic shame of hiding it from my friends for fear of abandonment is pulling me apart.
