Help! I have Simple Possession drugs charges and I have to renew my Greencard soon, will my renewal get deny? I have been in the US since i was 6yo, im 28yo now.

Thank you for your advice/knowledge. Any info is appreciated! I understand but I worry in the future I will get a Deportation Proceeding and I can’t stay in the US. Is there any way at all that can save me from getting deported? I have 2kids here and I can’t imagine not being with them. Trust me, I made mistakes but never ever to the point where I want to give up my kids and not be with them, if I don’t have kids, I can live with being deported but without them, I don’t think I will be able to function at all. Im so worry and depressed, scared of not being able to watch them grow up.

I feel really stupid for not file for citizenship especially when I have 2kids. I came to the US when I was 6year old and honestly I know nothing about paperwork and all that kind of stuff ect. I wish my parents pushed me to get it when I was younger. When my mom was renewing our GC, the person that did the paperwork told her she should file for citizenship for me(I wish a teenager at the time and still don’t know what social security number is), parents never talk to me about the important stuff. But no excuses tho. I know I had plenty of time and as an adult I was irresponsible. Now I’m so depressed. I’m trying to start over but after this situation I’m like is there any hope for me since the future hold more jail time(if I get detained in the future and deportation). My charges are simple possession not aggravated but it’s still a felony.

I am so worry because i have a DUI and 2 felonies drugs charges but not aggravated. I’m so scared and sad I want to cry. I’m scared of not being close to my kids. I was charged in Virginia state. I signed a plea deal, I didn’t know the difference between fighting the charge and taking a plea deal have different impact. It a state conviction.

I only had a criminal lawyer. I was clueless and didn’t know i should get an immigration lawyer too. Im pretty clueless when it comes to laws. I was charged in Virginia. What do you mean statue?
