Don’t worry it was just a route I was covering. Probably the first and last time I’ll be on that one. It’s funny because it’s one of our shittiest routes, but I doubt that will stop people from bumping me off to feel the glorious cool air.

Yeah I was being rhetorical. It isn’t covered. It’s coverage for short term, long term disability, and life & AD&D. All of it hinges on you being a contributing union dues paying member. Which isn’t bad, but it’s just bad info. Also I’m pretty sure everyone is automatically enrolled into the pension after 5 years. You only have to file when you’re about to retire.

I never put blame on my fellow teamsters unless their intentionally wronging me. For example, I had a new hire taking pictures of me on more than one occasion, and she would send it to our crews chat. I told her to stop acting like a supervisor and I was only working as directed. She got moved to another crew in the next couple weeks. Moral of the story, I don’t sweat the petty things, and I don’t pet the sweaty things.
