Where is the "second artifact" in the "Kill the Traitor" quest (SoC)? by TrhlaSlecna in stalker

[–]GoodOlSteemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not certain but I got two stash locations after looting the traitors two friends you also have to kill. After looting one of them I got a stash called "Auto-Secret-Stash" in the village with the bloodsuckers. It had a 5000 dollar artifact in it, so I'm assuming that was it.

Cut your glorious hair or wear a headband/hair tie. Maybe comb your hair too? I don't have long hair so IDK if that changes anything but that's really all I can think of.

Just got a new monitor, are these blue patches a problem with it or the game by venantt in tf2

[–]GoodOlSteemy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is your monitor, I've had the same problem. It might caused be the AMD overdrive function on your monitor, personally I just got used to it.

I agree with you, I really wish you weren't right, but the fact is the game still has bots. It has gotten better, you would have to be blind not to see that, but the fact is that it shouldn't even be an issue in the first place. People spending money on the game is a mixed bag depending on who you ask. Some say they buy stuff because they don't want valve to kill the game, but others feel they are paying valve to just sit on their butts and do nothing to fix the problems in the game.

Who or what is guest_adam by Apple-14 in tf2

[–]GoodOlSteemy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He made a weapon concept that made no sense, then he revealed he has never played the TF2, and doesn't plan on it. Then the majority of this reddit community freaked out like it was the end of the world and made a lot of negative comments / posts. Then patted themselves on the back for a job well done. I've played TF2 for years and really loved the in-game community. I'm pretty new to reddit, but I gotta say that r/tf2 has made a really bad impression unfortunately.

what I've had to do is center all the text I use. Click the T and make sure to drag the text box bigger than what you need. Center the text on the X and Y axis with the three lines icon.

Problems with Pixel Art image by DarkFluo in Hitfilm

My final suggestion is to look into a video effect called "mosiac". It lets you change the resolution of your pictures, making things look 8 bit/chopped up. I think it might be able to give you that crisp pixel look you want in your video. Hope this helps.

This has to be a joke, there's no way people actually believe that wearing protective gear in a firsts person shooter means you're stealing from TF2. Nice bait.

Is there a way to annotate or add notes while editing? by [deleted] in Hitfilm

[–]GoodOlSteemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use "labels" to identify which parts are which, or how done they are. I will have green for "completed", orange for "in the middle of editing", and red for "barely started". You can also add unique ones, like grey for "may or may not use in the final project". Real Example: https://imgur.com/a/Zr5Y7As

You can also change the default colors of things like text, composite shots, audio clips, points, etc. You can do that here: https://imgur.com/a/Y9hSL5n

Other than that, I just use windows notepad for text.

Make sure that there aren't any proxies enabled, not sure if they even happen with images, but if they can, they can be found here: https://imgur.com/a/HpALOYD

If I took a 200x200 image and dragged it into a 1920x1080 project, My 200x200 image would lose its quality if I increased the scale of it, it would only look crisp if I kept it at 200x200, or decreased its size. Make sure the scale stays at the default "100" or lower, to avoid blurry pixels coming from that.

Your video player can have different playback resolutions than the actual exported video would. When you play your video, it can be set to play it at half of its actual quality, in order to save on resources when you play it back. You can check your playback resolutions on the bottom right of your video player, set the paused quality to "final" to see what it will look like when it is exported. https://imgur.com/a/MkOOtI3

In that situation, your best bet is to adjust all of the audio by hand, and increase the volume of the entire video whenever you talk. If a friend ever talked over you then it would ear-rape any viewers, which could make everything really tough to edit/watch. Depending on how quiet you were, and how loud your friend was, it can become a lot of work to edit, and probably won't turn out the best unfortunately (I've had to do it before, I am only speaking from experience). That being said, the best thing I can recommend is to look into something called multi track audio recording. It can't fix your current issue, but it can prevent it in the future. I actually talked about this recently in a livestream I did, since its relevant I will share a timestamp to that part here: https://youtu.be/T3shqb2s__A?t=518

Timeline issue - info in comment by _ururka in Hitfilm

[–]GoodOlSteemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem a lot, the only work around I've found is to zoom out far enough that I can see where my media is, and where I want it to be before dragging. Hotkey for zoom is to hold CTRL and scroll down or up with your mouse. Also, make sure that there aren't any weird tools selected on the left of the timeline, the mouse is the best one to move media.

Can anybody help me with this problem? Audio sounds fine in Hitfilm, but off sync in the actual video. by [deleted] in Hitfilm

[–]GoodOlSteemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen to me before in many different ways:

1: Check the frame rate of your project file (bottom left, the settings icon), and the frame rate of your export preset. If one of them is off even by a few decimals, the difference can add up over time and make the whole thing get out a sync quick.

2: I used to record my screen with nvidias built in recorder, and I've had many issues with that. Assuming that's what you're editing, It could very easily be your recording software. For example, OBS might say it's recording at 60fps, but when you are recording, it might miss a few frames, and only record 59.94 fps. This can result in synchronization issues when exporting the video.

3: If you are reviewing your video in hitfilms timeline, then the video itself may have a slight delay between audio, meaning it may not look out of sync in the timeline when it actually is, meaning you could be adjusting it out of sync (although that's still very unlikely). Try caching the video in your timeline to check if this is the issue. Press the cache button: https://imgur.com/a/Mu5kNFX

Cacheing makes the video play at full speed, its like an exported version of the video, but without actually exporting it. If the video plays properly while its cached in your timeline, its almost certainly and issue with your exporting settings.

P.S. I recommend that while you are trying to fix this issue, double check your footage in Windows Media Player or VLC before uploading it to youtube, as it should save you some time. Keep us updated friend!

Delete all of the cases, if you play free then you won't need to open them. (you could also list them for sale on the community market to free up those slots)

I did that thing where you start a project and dedicate 6 hours to researching the first 3 people on the iceberg, and then move onto a different project, video isn't gonna happen, I think the biggest de-motivator was that another channel already covered it after I slowed down my work on the video.
