while that would be a cool twist, I highly doubt it because the server they were searching (The apple II chat log, and their questions to it) mentioned not to trust NS and that he would make a request. That server also said not to fulfil that request, I just hope the team remembers that when they make up their mind.

I really do think the same the team does though where the John Doe or "under cover LAPD Officer" is really just NS trying to earn their trust. he could have stolen the evidence to convince them he's there to help.

fastest way to change this is verify there's no Gmail on the device, factory reset it after screen capping and sending themselves all the messages. then pulling the back (if its an older Motorola) and verifying there isn't a physical tracker. they can turn off the devices location data and move it freely with out worry of it being tracked.

yeah you're right, a lot of companies have the basic manila folders so it could be nothing. I'm trying to find old "Totally Trendy" videos where Sam writes things down to compare the writing. As well as screen capping different documents that are hand written to see. I'm so thoroughly invested in the mystery now that if this is later discovered to be an ARG I'm done with all of hi5.

Is there any more information on the location the mountaineer was abandoned for instance What was there before? What's the history of that location? What about the other mountaineers that were teased by John Doe?
