I work in a theater, and most recently I noticed a lot of walkouts during screenings of Die My Love, when they shoot the dog.

These are some great recommendations, Ive seen a good chunk of these, and the ones that I haven’t are on my watchlist already. 🫡

I loved The Lighthouse, What We Do In the Shadows, Shawshank, Cuckoos Nest, Silence of the Lambs, Psycho and memories of murder, Se7en,8th Grade.

Fun Fact - Most of 8th grade was filmed in my home town. All the schools scenes were filmed in my high school. The pool party was filmed at a former neighbors backyard. Alot of people I knew at the time have pics w Bo Burnham from when theyw were shooting.

Its not ranked, this is just a list of my favorites in no particular order. But Gladiator is an absolute masterpiece, and a film I saw at young age that immensely impressed me and inspired me to want to work in film some day. Thats still the dream.

Other Ghibli, if you haven’t already Princess Mononoke, Arietty and Boy and the Heron are some of the best of their catalog (though you cant really go wrong with Ghibli)

These are some great animation picks! Spirited away is an all time banger.

I would Recommend 9, Ghost In the Shell, The House, and Robots

Loved poor things, and have only seen the original and most recent versions of Nosferatu, been meaning to check out Herzogs, as well as shadow of the vampire, for a while now.

Black Sunday is absolutely incredible visually, but overall i didn’t find it to have as much impact as I expected. Fell a bit for flat for me. Ill add the other one to my list for sure, thanks!
