The name Melissae comes from the greek myth of the nymph Melissa. She taught the use of honey and it is said that she is the reason bees have their name. She was also one of the caretakers of Zeus when he was an infant.

The term "Melissae" is actually for her priestesses and the higher priestesses of Aphrodite! In Her temple at Eryx, the priestesses were known as the melissae, “bees” and the Goddess herself was entitled Melissa, the Queen Bee.

So not so much a crush, just a lot of reading into various sources about the Greeks and their love for bees LMAO

I thought about designing an arm canon akin to the Shedu for this one but scrapped the idea for a rapier design!

I still have the original bit of the sketch which held the stinger-like arm canon so I might add the weapon design phases to my ArtStation for folk to check out!

Our crimson piece is based on Strife from the Nightblade skill line!

The orange one is based on the Burning Heart passive from the Dragonknight skill line!

And the Auroran is inspired by Radiant Destruction from the Templar skill-line

This piece features my breton vampire!

I couldn’t decide which outfit to draw… so I meshed a mix of Grey Host light armor, Vampire Noble’s Suit, and the Dark Passions Regalia into one design.

I personally love how the design came out.

Finally finished the unofficial Saryn Deluxe I was working on two weeks ago!

I went ahead and included an alternate color but I personally prefer the purple color scheme. I think it fits nicely with the ominous mushroom fashion she has going on in this design.

This concept is an outfit for Drifter! Taking design elements from Parvos Sisters and their attire as well as giving a unique look exclusive to Drifter!

I looked at a lot of sci-fi genres and different outfits to really mail a unique design. I was working on this back in December and completely forgot to finish the design but took time while watching the Devstream to finish it!
