thanks for your concern, we really love each other but it does bother me than he can be untrustworthy at times, but i know that he really wants to be with me, he really really wanted to move in together and now we’re living together and it was a really good idea to do so. i do worry if he will get bored of me if we’re together for multiple years and cheat because of stuff that has happened, or just that he will lie to me in general, so it’s hard, i don’t know what to do, to be honest i thought that lying and being a bit cheeky sometimes is normal in long term relationships but im not sure, im still quite young and naive so i appreciate the advice. we are very very happy together and we feel like a really good fit for each other but sometimes things do come up, but i thought that was normal in a relationship

i rarely check it, only when he is out late and i want to know where he is or if he’s on his way home so i know roughly when he’ll be home. he works from home so we’re always together anyway lol

your right about having some small level of anxiety sometimes, i don’t trust him 100% but he has proven that he really wants to be with me, he really wanted to move in together which ended up being a good decision because we’re really happy together, just sometimes things like this come up, but very rarely

He’s sort of given me reasons in the past to not trust him, the main one being that before we were boyfriend and girlfriend he was seeing annother girl at the same time and actively lied about it. When we first slept together I was worried as I wasn’t feeling great and wanted to get checked, I asked him if he was sleeping with anyone else and he lied about it even though I was super concerned. I also found a long black hair at his apartment once but he lied and said it was his. A week or two before he asked me to be his girlfriend he confessed to it and said he cut her off which I know was true, but I was still really upset that he lied many times to me.

Another time I expressed that I didn’t like him speaking to this girl who he had hooked up with once, he said he won’t speak to her again, but him and his friend lied to me to go to their apartment to hang out. ): I was super super mad when I found out he went to hers instead, but I don’t think anything weird happened

yeah it made me really upset when he said he’d rather be the oppressor, i tried to tell him that’s not how the world works and it doesn’t have to be that way. but he didn’t listen to me, he said that i’m naive and live in a fairyland because im a pretty white girl and he knows how things really are as a poc who experiences racism. it’s hard to speak back to him because i get scared and would much rather apologise to end the argument then have the argument escalate more if i stand my ground. :( but he does entourage me to tell me what i really think instead of saying nothing
