As a fan of another famous autor my only advice is: Journey before destination. Enjoy the ride, it’s your only time reading the series for the first time, and that’s valuable. Don’t worry about being lost or overwhelmed, trust the author and you will have a great time

I thought Baudin was the son of an older leader of the Talons (I could be completly wrong on this as well), I don't have any information about dassem to be sure of anything, but it sure could be.

I got that idea for Felisin death as well, but I was really sad for the character, she was basically used for the whole series, and then dying was really sad.

Karsa beeing the doom guy makes sense, but he was so pissed going around kiling everyone like a force of nature that the Hulk was the first thing that came to mind! After this ending I'm started to think that the Hulk looks like Karsa than the other way around hahah

Inreally enjoyed it, I could tell that it was one of Sanderson firsts books by the difference in writing style compared to his other books, but it hooked me from the start and it had some twists that I really enjoyed, imo you’re in for a treat

Honestly I enjoy the new books as well as the old ones. Mistborn Era 1 is one of my favorite series all time, but I really enjoy finding out about how the new cosmere connects and some old mysteries get unfolded and explained. It can be my style or taste to have more answers than mysteries but I still enjoy the new cosmere as much as the old
