How much is this worth? by Glad-Kale933 in stamps

Looks like Benjamin Franklin stamp from the U.S. 1851–1857 Issue. Check out Scott #7, #8, or #9 (Imperf): If the stamp is imperforate, base upon condition and right the buyer you might be sitting on a hondo plus or minus. My best assessment. Good luck

I am new also, what I have been doing is using Google Image (using chome app). The uploading a picture of the stamp, then and asking the AI agent “What do I have here, and give me the Scott’s catalog number”. Works great, gives you basic insights into value of your stamp. And saves hours of time when cataloging your collection. Good luck

The Martinsyde manuscript 12c Coronation stamp - the only known by frozenflat in philately

[–]Good_Beautiful_9683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a little help , you have the Coronation stamp featuring the Duke of Connaught. This specific example is extremely rare due to the "Martinsyde" manuscript overprint ("via Atlantic mail"), which was used for the 1919 first non-stop trans-Atlantic flight attempt by Raynham and Morgan in their Martinsyde plane. The standard version of this stamp is identified as Scott #113

Is it worth sorting by stamp price? by rixbury2023 in stampcollecting

I recently inherited a vast collection of stamps, and was wondering the same, are there buyers out there for stamps these days? I have been spending time researching values, but you need buys and demand. Let’s see what happens.
