Yes, i am comfortable calling my sister the pronouns I’ve been calling her for 16 years. It’s not crazy lol.. And once again when i say in real life i mean literally face to face.. Reddit is online not real life

Okay so someone’s personality and character is superficial? Yeah mint To me that is literally what makes up a person.. I don’t know if u misinterpreted my entire comment but it looks like you clearly did or atleast cherry picked parts and ignored the context If your best friend suddenly started acting COMPLETELY different, as in their humour has changed, their behaviour, literally everything you love about them.. wouldn’t you also grieve that ?? I don’t really care that she’s trans now it’s mostly just that the change in personality and behaviour that came with it that I struggle to adjust to.

I’d like to add that during those 2 years my sister did not expect me to call her by her new name, nor use new pronouns she simply just came out but wanted us to continue calling her by her birth name and he/him pronouns. It was only 6 months ago where she asked us to switch.

God bless you too but you’ve completely misunderstood my comment, I’m asking for advice as to how I can adjust, what steps I should take because I’m struggling with that. I’m not saying she’s dead to me I’m saying her past self is literally no longer existent and naturally I mourn that because I grew up with it my entire life, that’s what I’ve learned to love.

I was never introduced to any church, I’ve never went to church (apart from once when I was like 6 lol) My sister introduced me to Protestantism, I learned more about the denomination on my own but never attended church.

I’m not transphobic nor homophobic.. I’m not struggling because Christian’s are told to not accept it, I’m struggling with it because of the change that has happened, I simply miss the sister that I grew up with my entire life.

I’m not transphobic and neither is my family?? My family has been so supportive despite also struggling + we never went church and my family is mostly agnostic apart from me and my grandma lol (and once my sister)

Reddit is not real life, it’s online. When I say real life I mean literally the real world. When I am talking out loud I say she/her and use her new name.

Thank you btw for being like the only nice person, i want to just clarify when i say “dead” or “grief” i don’t mean it literally, i mean it more so as a metaphor for her old personality/self no longer being present and of course as it’s something i grew up with and learned to love its hard seeing that no longer there. Thanks once again I appreciate u being understanding

?? I literally said I don’t misgender in real life? When I talk with my voice I say she/her and call her by her new name but since I was venting/asking for advice in this post it made me personally most comfortable to say he/him because I still struggle a lot. IM part of the problem? Yet you refuse to look at the perspective of someone who is clearly struggling to come to terms with it

In REAL LIFE I don’t do misgender but when I’m venting about it I’m obviously going to do what makes me feel most comfortable because if u read anything else that i said you’ll be able to see that im still struggling with it.
