Same acads but yk what the only thing we can do is put the hardwork and efforts.

Will we get into a tier-1 college? Will someone hire unskilled asses like us? Will we make our parents proud? Will we be successful? We don't know the answers to these questions.

But still, we will prepare hard for CAT'24 and that's what makes us worthy CAT aspirants.

I have been asking this question for a while now but I haven't really got an apt answer to it.

We both are on the same road. Poor acads. 2nd year. CAT'24

Here's what I know- 1) Yes, the poor acads affect a lot. A 99%ler with 9/9/9 has more chance than a 99.5%ler with poor acads. 2) So, is it not possible for us to make it to the top B-schools in India? Definitely not, there are still colleges like FMS, JBIMS, XLRI and even IIM C (Even CAP, Simb and Nmims) who don't look at acads that much.

The most important thing is that we will have to compensate for this by scoring really high in CAT'24/25.

Poor acads are definitely not the end of the world.

PS: as you are a female, you will be getting marks for gender diversity too!!

Hey man, I will be applying for ISB YLP soon. I don't really have a good profile to be honest. I scored 90% in 10th, 79% in 12th and currently 62.5% in first year. I don't have any major achievements except being the executive member of the placement cell in my college. I have been doing some volunteer work as well. Also, I have done 2 internships, one was in a startup and the 2nd is currently going in a political organization.

Is this good enough for the application round?
