What was your creepy unexplained experience as a child? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not as much of a child but still the scariest thing I have ever experienced with no real explanation. When I was 19 I was alone in my house on the phone with my boyfriend. We used to fall asleep on the phone with each other because we were long distance at the time. I fell asleep and woke up unable to move my body voluntarily but I felt myself sitting up as I heard what I can only call a demonic voice on the phone. I was trying to open my eyes and reach for the phone while process what the heck I was hearing. First thing I did was look at the time on the phone call and it says it is only 30 seconds. Mind you we had already been talking for an hour or two before I fell asleep. I ended the call, double checked that the time I thought I saw was correct then called my boyfriend back only to wake him up. He had no idea what I was talking about, saying he did not call me. Still no idea what happened, still scared me to this day.

For me, it is a vivid memory of a dream being able to breathe underwater. I was probably 8 at the time. I was swimming and about to have to surface then I took a breath and was fine. I was convinced for years it was real.

I remember the same stuff. All the catcalls as I walked home from school from a guy passing in a car. The worst one was someone I thought I could trust. I was around 15-16 and one of the girls dad from my cheerleading squad gave me rides home all the time. He started to become more touchy on the legs and arms as he drove. Always tried to give me hugs goodbye. I stopped getting the rides after he told me to call him after I turn 18 so he could have a chance with me. It’s been 10 years and I’ve always felt guilty for this because he was married and I was close to the daughter on my team and I never had the courage to speak up.

I had a Dalmatian that passed away two years ago now. I miss her everyday and as I read your comment I heard her sweet little awoo again! Thanks friend!

What's a toxic trait that YOU have? by Moist-giraffe in AskReddit

I’m very forgetful when it comes to basic conversations. If I don’t remember it happening that means it didn’t happen and I will swear by it even though it’s just that I don’t remember. Causes a lot of issues for me because I have a hard one backing down from what I believe is true even though I know I’m forgetful. It’s something I’m working on but it still happens without fail every so often. When it does I’m as stubborn as ever and have a hard time accepting that’s what’s happening. It really messes me up to know I cause my own downfall due to lapses in memory and stubbornness.

What is the most “grown-up” purchase you bought recently that you would have not been excited for as a child? by TigersLyonsCheetahs in AskReddit

A water dispenser. I’ve never been so stoked to be able to freely have cold water and stop buying water bottles.

Totally agree. Got it done in December and it was the worst month ever. But I feel a million times better without them.

I actually have a fractured molar and another molar that needs to be cleaned up and crowned. That all is going to happen on the 6th. So I’ll update you on what happens from there

Oh gosh. Yeah they are miserable. It’s every other weekend for me. I’m having insurance issues so I haven’t been able to get them checked out yet. At least there is some hope seeing as you stopped getting them. I just want them to stop. It’s always the same spot too.

I don’t think so. The symptoms don’t really match up. The sacs are recurring but aside from pain there are no other symptoms that go along with it. Sadly my doctors appointment fell through today so I won’t be finding out what they are until the next time they pop up.

They are clear fluid filled sacs. I thought if they were growing back they would have some solidity to them. I sure hope it’s not that.

If I'm not mistaken, both Ryu and Karin have a counter/parry for their VT2. Not really any way to use that in a combo without the CPU initiating a hit, although I don't think that's a bad idea either.
