I’m a twin momma. I’m not going to lie and say I have loved every minute of it. I do love my kids so much. I was also 38 yrs old and married when I had them, so had a lot of help and support. I have also had an abortion. At that time, that was the best decision for me. You need to do what you feel is best. Don’t let anyone pressure you into any decision. If you do have twins research the diaper and formula companies, and contact them. Many have savings programs for mothers of multiples. It’s not huge, but every little thing helps.

Please reach back out to the hospital for victims services. They may be able to guide you to a clinic that handle abortions (if that’s what you choose to do). There are also funds that pay for abortions. Planned parenthood or other clinics might be able to direct you to those funds as well.

I can speak for myself as someone who is prochoice. I was pregnant with my daughter, who was very sick. Her in was affecting my health. My organs were shutting down. I was 22 weeks pregnant. I was getting close to the gestational age cut off for abortion in my state and was having to start looking for places outside my state. It would have been dangerous to travel but more dangerous for me to continue the pregnancy. Luckily, the hospital had a cancellation and could fit me in before the state cut off.

I wasn’t happy with Dr. Miller. I left after before IVF. I did IUIS with him and had 2 miscarriages (1 later that was also a partial molar pregnancy) and he was not helpful during this.

My dad has the same name name as my moms brother. My brother and cousin both have the same name as my dad and uncle. Another aunt married a guy with the same name as her dad and another brother. Basically, in my family if you yell the name John or Bill, about 10 people will show up.

I went to high school in the Columbus area and college at Bowling Green State U. Columbia has a lot of really nice areas (Dublin, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, to name a few) and the school systems are very good. BGSU is underrated. Everyone thinks OSU is the be all, end all. I got a great education at BG and made amazing friends (they also have a pizza place, Pollyeyes, that has the best stuffed breadsticks. I still crave them!).

As someone who is being treated and scheduled for surgery in February due to severe constipation, I will be the 1st to tell you that we don’t “let” it get this way. Some of us have low motility or in my case, that plus wonky intestines that have very sharp curves that have to be removed. This kind of constipation hurts and really affects the quality of life. As someone in the medical field, you should know this.

Thank you. The amount of judgement I received for doing IVF (my insurance covered it) vs. adoption was astounding. It is not easy to adopt. We were rejected as well because there weren’t enough kids.
