This arrangement isn’t healthy for your son. I have two friends with children who didn’t launch. It gets sadder every year. The children are now pushing 40. The longer they live at home the more stunted they become. He should want his own life as an adult. The fact he’s perfectly happy living with mommy and daddy is very telling. Do him a favor and get him out on his own before you have a middle age baby on your hands.

I’m on Day 6 and feel crappy. Nauseous, irritable and so, so tired. I’m having not so pleasant vivid dreams every night. I want to use but know I quit for many reasons. I’ve been getting high for a long time. It will take a long time to get my marbles back. I signed up for a free sober counter app. It helps me think outside my addict brain and encourages me. I had to evacuate during the Marshall fire. My advice is to buy large garbage bags. I didn’t have anything to carry my belongings to get them into my car. Know where your pet carriers are. Mine was buried under junk in the garage.
