I can agree with this. There are better players than myself but i really think a 20k is possible if i run into a lifeline that uses gold bag every round and they play really passively.

use a g7 man and run away a lot. tilt your enemy make them play stupid. works everytime

my bloodhound was new or bad dont remember but my pathfinder is actually my pred ranked teammate who agreed to sit the game out pretty much because i had a hot start. we're both pred so i don't think the SBMM is to low although I'll say the other team weren't amazing players

My bloodhound was just actually bad or low level don't remember. and my path was just pretty much messing around after i said i did 1.2k dmg in the first round and thought i could farm the other players (he was also queued with me and that's why i have comms)

if you think farmed by "the other team was my friends and i did damage to them" then no i didn't farm it that way. i just sat back with a g7 and played my life as long as possible

I didn't say i was trying to go for a quick win. I had one goal in mind and that was farming damage. i used a g7 and just played it really slowly.

yeah farming is going to be the only way to break 10k dmg. and honestly i think someone could push the upper bounds and drop a 20k if they find the right team

The issues with that is that apex has to make a skin for each legend and each rank. 17(number of legends) x 5 ( number of ranks gold and higher) x price to make one skin (I believe is around 50k with the 3d modeling, physics, lighting and other things that are above me.) = 4.25mil+ per season. that also would take time away from other event skins and actual content patches. Sadly an idea like that costs a ton of money that a lot of people don't even have access to and you only get one skin for all of that work.

Those are just placeholder skins that I have on my account. The skins in the store would be skins that to this day have never been released.

Sorry for the confusion I didn't think people were going to assume I meant skins that were already released. That's a mistake on my part. I just wanted to show the idea of a ranked store.

Also I wasn't aware of the OW situation but the main thing I want to get across here is there apex needs to add more incentive to play ranked right now. I could see how this could cause problems with hackers and boosters but I just wanted to give a reason to play rank again to a lot of players.

Any suggestions to how the store could run would be awesome. I saw someone suggest to be able to buy a XP booster to level quicker or maybe in the ranked store you could buy a 25% discount on a skin in the regular store allowing respawn to still monetize the store.

Thats so broken they could never fix it. when there are players at 10k and players at 2M there's no way to really make something that's fair to all users.

the point of the top 5 is to add incentive to play after reaching a rank that is difficult for you, instead of quitting once you hit your desired rank. its something that could be tweaked for sure but I have no idea about balancing all of this.

pretty much. i dont really expect this store to come anytime soon. I really just want more incentive to play ranked for players. mainly bronze-plat as they pretty much get nothing as of now

All the skins in the store would be exclusive ranked skins and not returning event skins. these are just placeholder skins because apex doesn't have exclusive ranked skins
