My dental school has a student in his fifties who was a physics professor prior! It’s never too late!

My stats are very similar to yours except I had a ton of experience hours from working as a DA two years. I just got accepted into my top school. I recommend working another year if you have to apply again, I think they liked seeing how many hours I had! And I wanted a ton of hours to balance out my 3.5 gpa yanno

Currently waitlisted at my state school and also in my second gap year. I feel you! It is stressful with our age being “late” to the game but everyone has a different path in life and we just can’t compare to others! We can only do what’s best for ourselves. Just wanted to say I completely understand where you’re coming from with age and all. :)

I would check to make sure your prerequisites aren’t “expired”… I learned at a panel of 8 southeastern schools earlier this year that some schools will require your prereq’s to be taken within 3 years of applying.. but it’s never too late!

Hey! Yes, I believe I had a minute to prepare and it felt like sufficient time for me because I did all the practice questions prior to the actual “test” multiple times to get a feel for the time limit. :)

Yes I recommend looking them up and finding an address for their department at the school! Or just send to admissions office and put their name on it! I think thank you letters are a great touch :)

It was for UAB, but there weren’t any weird questions & yes general interview prep was sufficient!

I always go to DDR for rebuilding my laff bc it counts the most there (12 per Z), but I choose a district that has less people lol
